Who are we?

My name in Sinead and I'm a Craftaholic
I work full time as a supervisor in a printing company, but my real passion is crafting. I've been a crafter for the past 25yrs. I started off cross stitching and was then bitten with the crafty bug!
Moving onwards and upwards from there.  I can't resist a challenge or getting involved in something new. I'm also a qualified nail technician.
I knit, decorate cakes, decoupage and am teaching myself to crochet at the moment.
My new found love is Amigurumi. I love creating loveliness with buttons, sparkles, fancy paper etc.
My biggest creations to date are my four mini crafters ages 2, 11,13 and 22 yrs.
My BFF at the moment is my industrial glue gun!
Crafty Craft Fairs has given myself and Gillian a whole new insight in the crafting industry in Ireland. We've met some wonderful crafters and have learnt new crafts. I can't wait to see what is ahead for us. I hope you'll join us on our crafty journey through Ireland, you never know where we might pop up!
Your craftiness
Sinead

Hi, My name is Gillian and I'm stay at home mum of two little ones. I'm married to my very tolerant hubby who has slight OCD about tidiness so has struggled to put up with my accumulating fabric & crafts stash.....

So between looking after the family and everything that goes with it, I somehow manage to do a little sewing. I've always been creative, dabbling in jewellery making, fascinator making, makeup & nails over the years but I have found my absolute passion and I'm in my element when I'm sitting at my sewing machine creating handmade gifts. I'm pretty sure I can safely say its "in the blood"! My grandmother was a fantastic seamstress and as far back as I can remember, my mum has been making curtains and cushions as well as clothes for myself and herself over the years. All credit for teaching me how to use a sewing machine goes to my mum.....
I have an interest in all crafts and this year started Crochet. I've also started to decoupage everything in sight !

Crafty Craft Fairs has introduced us to so many talented people and has only ignited our interest in the wonderful crafting world further. Looking forward to seeing what's around the corner
Gillian x
